About the event

In Nature there are so many beautiful and wondrous things we can utilize if we know what we are looking for. I have spent the last 5-6 years really appreciating each plant that creates our landscape and I’d love to share what I’ve learned with you. When we are able to pause and look, we are able to learn a whole lot.

On this backyard walk we will get a chance to see and talk about some of my favourite and and most common plants such as; Yarrow, Plantain, dandelion, purple violets, red clover, wild lettuce, lamb’s quarter and a few others as we walk I am sure! We will talk about what they are used for, if they are edible and which parts, and how to activate the medicine inside! From bug bites to bee stings, hormone imbalances, joint pain, mood enhancers and blood detoxification to pain control and nerve pain, our answers can be found in nature and most of the time it’s in the “weeds”.

It will be a relaxed and peaceful setting with some refreshments for us to all enjoy. The walk will not be strenuous, and we don’t have to travel far from the house. with a little treat for all who show up and participate! Please let me know if you have any allergies, and I will make sure to accommodate. =)

Let’s hope for a beautiful evening and I know it will be filled with beautiful people!
