About the event
In Nature there are so many beautiful and wondrous things we can utilize if we know what we are looking for. I have spent the last 6- 7 years really appreciating and learning about the plants in my surrounding landscape that most call "weeds" but really hold many benefits to our bodies and help us heal without needing to rely on the health system and medications prescribed so heavily. Gaining knowledge in what plants are growing in your back yard make it a great way to get to know your space and know what to grab when you get a bee sting to take away the pain. I’d love to share what I’ve learned with you on my backyard walk.
On this backyard walk we will get a chance to see and talk about some of my favourite and and most common plants such as; Yarrow, Plantain, dandelion, purple…
