Are the younger people in your household into trapping squirrels or hunting Deer? Wanting to learn about harvesting all the pieces of the animal and not quite sure how to do the tanning part? I’m here to help!

About the event
With the growing number of young people attending my workshops, together with the Lunenburg Holistic Healing Centre we are dedicating a day specifically to them! I will break down the tools they need, the step by step process from fleshing and taking the hide off the animals to smoking the finished product and having home tanned leather! and give information about my journey so far that will help get. This offers a hands on learning experience that will help de-mystify the process and make it a realistic and very possible thing for your young trappers/hunters/farmers and now tanners in your family to accomplish.
For those of you that might have no experience at all, but you would like to learn something new, not to worry! The process is something worth experiencing and it will be easy to understand and learn all the same!
